The 12-hour EDT package
Essential Driver Training is the mandatory 12-hour course every new Category B learner has to complete before sitting the driving test (per rsa.ie). It is 12 one-hour lessons delivered by an RSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), and each lesson is logged in your EDT Learner Logbook and signed off at the end of the session. Because you train and test in the same car, there are no last-minute surprises with clutch absence or pedal position.
Can I buy lessons individually?
